Using the app without an account
Obra Report works without signing up. In free mode your projects, reports and photos stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.
In that mode the only data leaving the device is the weather lookup (see "Third-party services") and, if you choose to send one, a feedback message.
What we collect once you create an account
Account: name, email, optional phone, optional signature, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Work content: projects, reports, stages and percentages, costs and budgets, notes, recipient contacts, site addresses and coordinates, and photos.
Deliveries: a record of who each report was sent to, when, and whether a client opened it in the app.
Notifications: a device token used to deliver push notifications, for as long as you keep notifications enabled.
Support: the text of any feedback you send and the IP address used to send it, only to limit abuse.
Why we use it
To run the service you asked for: producing reports, syncing across your devices, delivering reports to clients, and notifying your team.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell it. The app contains no analytics trackers.
Who can see your data
Inside your organization, access follows each person’s role. Clients invited as viewers see only the projects they were granted, and never costs.
A sent report creates a public link with a random, non-indexed identifier. Anyone holding the link can view that report, so treat it as confidential.
Third-party services
Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage and email delivery.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: push notification delivery.
Open-Meteo: weather for the report period, from the project coordinates.
Nominatim and OpenStreetMap: turning addresses into coordinates, and maps.
Each receives only what that function requires.
How long we keep it
For as long as the account exists. Deleting your account removes your personal data and the content of organizations you solely own, as described on the account deletion page.
Backups may retain data for up to 30 days after deletion.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, the GDPR and comparable laws you may confirm processing, access, correct, port and delete your data, and withdraw consent.
The app offers data export and account deletion directly in Settings. You can also write to contact@cleveraiapps.com.
Children
Obra Report is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
